systems), and Political Economy. Author of The Soviet Bloc in the
IMF and IBRD (Westview Press, 1988). Co-author of "Decentralization
and Local Capacity for Environmental Policy-Making in Post-Communist
Hungary" and co-editor of The International Political Economy
of the Environment: Critical Perspectives (Lynne Rienner,
2001). Member of the board of the American Association for
the Advancement of Slavic Studies, 1995-97. "I
am currently interested in environmental politics in the East
and Central European region, focusing on International river
basin management (particularly the Danube and Tisza Rivers),
foreign financing of energy and environment, and local government
capacity for environmental policy-making in Hungary. At the
undergraduate level, I incorporate a section on environmental
politics into Russian, East and Central European Politics (PO 345),
African Politics (PO444), and International Organization (PO433).
At the graduate level, I include environmental politics in
Politics of Change and Development (PO 541) and International
Environmental Politics (PO 739)." |
